Our Story

Founded in Udaipur, rajasthan India in 1985, we have our roots in various business sectors. Paras group was first established as a theatre in the heart of the city. Boom in the tourism industry called for the extension in the hospitality industry and today paras group is a proud owner of Hotel Paras Mahal and Paras Hill Resort in Udaipur. The inclination of people towards the handmade art of Udaipur led us to set up a shop in the premises of hotel where our in house guests could not only appreciate the beauty of handmade pieces but also own their personal piece of art.

This wasn’t the end until 3rd generation took over the business and came up with the fresh idea of expanding the handicraft area from just a little shop to an exotic office store located in the lush green lawn of the Hotel Paras Mahal.

We at paras group look forward to introduce the art of our home town Udaipur to the people all around the world. Introducing Co-Founders

Himani (25) & Deependra (26) are the partners in life and in business. Himani is a fashion designer and an MBA post graduate and Deependra has also done MBA in Marketing from Lancaster University. Himani has an upper hand on creative areas while the management section is all over to Deependra. Both share a perfect complementary skill sets. Shortly after getting married, they decided to expand their family business,So they invested their time in the research work on the art of Udaipur for almost 2 and a half years that they were going into. It was a no-brainer for them to find a way to make it happen and at the end the results were They get to spend a ton of time together. They also get to help build each other up and help bring out the best in each other.
